We’re thrilled to present our new website.
It’s taken many months of hard work, alongside our partners at the social change communications agency Shape History, and we couldn’t be happier to share the final result with you.
We’ve tackled this redesign with three clear objectives in mind: to improve our storytelling, accessibility, and transparency.
Every day our staff are exposed to the inspiring stories and work of frontline activists. We wanted to ensure our website featured those motivating stories front and center, so that you too can stay up to day on the courageous and impact work Fund grantees are doing across the globe.
The Latest News section is now a hub of inspirational stories, expert analysis, and news about our work. We will be posting regular content to the page and encourage you to bookmark and revisit it frequently for updates and insights.
Beyond sharing more stories of Fund grantees and updates on our work, we wanted the new website to quickly connect you with the human rights topics that interest you most. We have developed a streamlined user journey with this in mind.
We’ve made it easier than ever for you to find out where and how we’re making an impact via our new interactive Regions page, while the Issues section now provides an improved overview of the issues we’re tackling.
The fight for human rights is a global one, and we want to reach as many people as possible, so in addition to English, we have made the website available in French, Arabic and Spanish. This feature is found by clicking on the flag on the top lefthand side of the site’s header.
Accountability is a value we take seriously at the Fund, so in order to be even more transparent about our work, we have revamped the About Section of the website. This new section includes more detail about our strategy for identifying and funding locally-rooted human rights groups, why we operate the way we do, and how our supporters’ donations are effectively used. You can also learn more about our leadership team and stff, and what gets us out of bed every morning.
And last but not least, on our homepage we have a new animated video that breaks down our work in an exciting new format!
Please take a look around and let us know what you think of it on Facebook or Twitter!
