The Fund invests in grassroots activists who support migrants along every part of their journey. From lifting up migrant-led organizations to helping shape laws that protect migrant communities, we’re building a global movement for migrants’ rights.

How We Support Migrants
Promoting migrant-led organizations
Migrant communities should be able to advocate on their own behalf. We help uplift migrant-led initiatives and empower migrants to be active leaders in civil society.
Ensuring dignity and accountability
The migration journey is long and difficult. We help activists challenge arbitrary detention or deportation, document abuses, and—when necessary—search for migrants who have gone missing.
Facilitating access to social services
Migrants are often excluded from critical social services, like health care, education, or employment opportunities. We help activists deliver the critical assistance that everyone deserves.
Protecting migrants’ rights defenders
Migrant activists and their allies face xenophobic threats, intimidation, and attacks. We make sure they have the resources, networks, and support they need to stay safe.
